Leonardite, (even it's original form) is the mother of several organic farming fertilizers, is gained by alkaline extraction, lignite or humates. The result of this chemical reaction is called Potassium Humate which is a salt of Humic Acids.
As this material is of natural origin, it is very much recommended for organic farming. Especially in agriculture and horticulture, but also in Greenhouse farming, it is applied as growth stimulant and soil conditioner.
